We make an intuitive, ambidextrous chording Human Machine Interface HMI for Human Computer Interaction HCI
using a chordic Graphic User Interface GUI, suited to wearable and handheld, onehanded mobile computing devices.

The Company 
WetPC P/L is a privately owned company based in Canberra, Australia, which specialises in the research and development of novel technologies for use in underwater and mobile environments. A major objective is to commercialise the world’s first chordic graphic user interface the Kord® Interface Technologies the interface for the WetPC® Underwater Computer, which originated at the Australian Institute of Marine Science, Townsville (AIMS). We have a world-wide exclusive licence from AIMS to exploit the WetPC®Technologies and Kord® Interface Technologies. We have conducted a number of projects for a range of clients.

The Company was incorporated in August 1997 and officially commenced operations in January 1998. Our office is located in Canberra which is the capital of Australia.

The research and development that our Company undertakes provides:

• generic solutions which extend the reach and useability of the patented Kord® Interface Technologies;
• entirely new technologies which have “Blue Sky” applications;
• unique or generic intellectual property which will benefit other global technologies, and;
• solutions for in-house technologies.

We intend to become a world leader in the provision of innovative products, ideas and intellectual property for mobile computers and electronic devices. This will be achieved, in the first instance, by ensuring that the Kord® Interface Technologies are exploited as widely as possible in the world.

WetPC P/L seeks to generate products which can be produced and sold directly into world markets or incorporated by other companies in either existing or totally new technologies for mobile computing and communications applications. Personnel from WetPC P/L have also undertaken a desktop assessment study of underwater technologies, as well as developed proof-of-concept software and hardware for a range of defence applications (e.g. special forces, snipers, scouts, command messaging).

In undertaking these projects WetPC P/L has utilised the services of a number of companies and individuals to provide us with key hardware and software components. These subcontractors are situated throughout Australia.
